JUNKING TIP: "Keep your eyes open for the unexpected and don't be afraid to rummage in unlikely places."
I love decorating and shopping! Using old and new to make my look unique. With my often reluctant husband who takes me across country for flea markets and vintage shows, asking, what are you going to do with that? (sound familiar?) I try to explain, I love it, and I will figure out what to do with it eventually. Sometimes it takes a while because it's rusty, dirty, and I don't need it,but the light goes on and then it's the perfect piece. I was in Main Street Antiques for 15 years, when the opportunity came to be in
Vintage Market I saw the best of both worlds incorporating old and new.

DECORATIVE - UPCYCLED - HANDMADE VINTAGE
As a longtime customer of Vintage Market, I was thrilled to become a part of the creative collective! I love all things timeworn - vintage fabrics & papers, salvaged objects, anything that can be re-imagined for today's homes. So, with a lot of help from my husband for the big stuff and the metal stuff, I hope to create decor that is rustic and elegant, trendy and timeless...all at the same time.

I grew up in a family that went to antique shops, auctions and yard sales. I bought my first antique, a wood filer, in junior high. It still sits on my desk.
I taught for 35 years and have been retired 4 which gives me the time to follow my passions, discovering all things vintage or look vintage. creating, sewing, restoring, and decorating. My corner will contain a mix of vintage, antique, handmade and repurposed items, keeping mindful of trends in decorating.
